There are numerous beaches with a sandy bottom in Rio, providing excellent wave quality throughout the year, especially between March and June. We have waves for all levels of surfing, especially for beginners and intermediate surfers.
Being in the right place at the right time is what we do best and the main difference for trips with guides in our region!

The adventure
The adventure in Rio de Janeiro goes according to the client's taste, the waves, and the weather conditions. You can start the day at the sea, catching some waves, hang gliding from a beautiful rock or take a boat ride to pristine beaches.
What about going to the Cagarras Islands on a stand-up paddle after a hike to the top of the highest monolith in the world, Pedra da Gávea? If you want to drive around the city, just enjoying the view and stopping at the most interesting places, we can do that too. This all goes according to "Spirit of the Adventurer."
Carioca culture
Rio de Janeiro has a very rich culture and sports are a big part of it. Whether with the ball, playing the classic "altinha" by the beach, or board sports, such as surfing, kitesurf, stand-up paddling, it is almost certain that at one time, you will feel like joining.
You can go out and spend amazing days on the beach or on the hill, choose between a caipirinha or a cold beer, dance Rock or Samba music.
Music, drinks and social scene
There are many restaurants with great locations on the many beaches and neighborhoods in Rio for you to enjoy your day. Options range from traditional finger food bars to Michelin-starred restaurants. Sip your mate the traditional cold tea that you can find at any Rio de Janeiro beach, coconut water, beer or caipirinha.

There are many options for accommodation in Rio de Janeiro. From Leme to Barra da Tijuca, hotels by the sea are perfect for people looking for comfort close to the cultural scene. My name is Stephan Figueiredo. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I was a professional surfer and spent 20 years of my career chasing the best waves in the world, exploring inhospitable peaks and documenting those adventures. Three years ago, I came back to live in Rio de Janeiro to dedicate myself to my family and use some of my experience to take new surfers to know and surf around the city of Rio de Janeiro at the right time and in the right place.
