Harmony with nature

"A paradise in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, just a few steps from the sea with warm & transparent water. Serra Grande is a true paradise for those who love nature."

The surf

The Pousada Bahia das Jangadas is located in the heart of the Atlantic Forest of southern Bahia, it takes its name in honor of the "jangadeiros", who are artisanal fishermen from the region who go out to sea in search of mainly Mahi Mahi and Bass.

They are specialists in fishing for these fish and have their traditional knowledge passed on from generation to generation.

Its Jangadas are produced with specific trees, known as Paus de Jangada, which are endemic to the region. Here at the inn, we value the culture and the local community and we are always integrated, participating, and encouraging the insertion of the community in the economy generated by tourism.
