The surf
El Salvador is famous for two things, ultra-consistent swells and long right point breaks. During the winter, waves are generally smaller and friendlier. Summer has more consistent south swells with a higher potential for big & powerful waves. On any day, in this region, within a half-hour drive, there are tons of spots for beginner to advanced surfers. You can learn to surf or get barreled!
The adventure
The best way to get introduced to a new country is with someone who knows the region. Whether you are learning to surf or trying to get tubes, it’s all about local knowledge. I will pick you up early in the morning and decide on an itinerary that matches what you are looking to do. I recommend a full day if you want to surf, eat, hang out, and surf again.
El Salvador is a dream trip. Tropical palm tree-lined beaches, long waves, and beachfront cafes. But the people are some of the nicest, happiest in the world. Rolling around with me, we’ll make sure to hit all the best spots to experience the local surf, food, and culture.
