Celebrated surf pro and coach Tereva David and his team invite you into their family and community, guiding you through the island's world-class waves while sharing the warm Aroha culture of Tahitian hospitality.

Boat life

Tereva's team

Tereva David and his team will welcome you into their family, sharing their deep love of Tahiti’s culture and waves. Tereva has coached the ISA Olympic Training Camps at Teahupo’o and is known for his exceptional ability to read and surf Tahiti’s waves.

Opening ceremony

The opening ceremony kicks everything off with vibrant performances and traditional Tahitian rituals, setting the stage for an unforgettable event.

Hang with Vahine Fierro

The 2025 WSL rookie from Tahiti, made waves by winning the Tahiti Pro as a wildcard, showcasing her fierce talent and deep connection to the powerful waves of Teahupo'o.

Tahitian cuisine

Whether it's enjoying Tereva's favorite snack spot for poisson cru or crepes, savoring Uru (breadfruit), or grabbing a cold Hinano, you'll be invited to indulge in the vibrant flavors of Tahitian cuisine—sweet po'e made from bananas, papayas, or pumpkins, crispy firi firi fried dough, and savory poke, a delicious dish of raw fish marinated in rich coconut milk.

Relive epic moments

Our talented local Tahitian photographer will capture every epic moment, with photos and videos that will return home with you, allowing you to relive the beauty and thrill of your experience in Tahiti for years to come.

Aroha

Tahitian culture is built on warm hospitality and close-knit communities, where the spirit of aroha—love, compassion, and care—welcomes visitors with open arms, blending traditional Polynesian practices with French influence to create a truly unique and enriching experience.

Surfing

Teahupoo pulls in more swells than anywhere, but on Tahiti it’s not all scary barrels. The quality of the waves is exceptional and the waves are varied. Guides will find the best spot for you to surf your own waves between heats.

Lush mountains

Dramatic peaks plunge to the coastline and hidden waterfalls await. Tereva's expert guides lead you on thrilling hikes through lush valleys to secret spots that few have seen.

Vibrant reefs

The fishing, diving, and snorkeling here is some of the best in the world and you could easily spend your days getting lost in the abundance of the oceans riches. The water ranges from deep sea blues to crystal clear turquoise and the reefs are teeming with life.
In the lineup, arriving surfers greet each other by saying “Iaorana”, typically paddling up to each and every surfer in the lineup and offering a shaka, shake, or fist bump and nodding in acknowledgment and respect. There’s a lot we can all learn from this simple act of kindness.
