The best surf season is from December to May. The north swell arrives on the shores with fewer winds and the conditions are typically better, filled with sunny days, warm water and no need to wear a wetsuit.

From June to December, there are still waves. It is usually glassy in the mornings and it gets windy around 10 am.

The adventure

Known for its parties and surf, Montanita is a lively town where you will meet a lot of surfers and make many friends. The days will start early, so we can get to the best spots while they are still uncrowded and you will have the best breaks for your level only for yourself.

After the surf session, go back to your oceanfront accommodation and get ready for the night. The town has a bursting nightlife, so you can choose to walk around the neighborhood, grab a bite, or get ready for a party night in one of the nearby places.

Accommodation

You will be staying in a family property that used to be a hotel. It was recently renovated to be a vacation villa and all rooms are fully furnished to better accommodate you. It has an equipped kitchenette, a fridge, kitchen utensils and good Wi-Fi. The bigger suite fits 4 people.
